January 26, 2008 | My Kreations
I spent most of the day yesterday cleaning and reorganising my studio/office. I am really pleased at how it turned out!
I put it a peg board and moved alot of accessories to that and put up a curtain rod to hold all my punches…lol. Hey….It’s a great way to get it all off my table…lol.
I Still need to paint in here but until that happens I need it to function and look like a room and not tornado alley….after all it is one of the first rooms you see when you enter the house. I converted the Formal Dining room. I have no use for a carpeted place to eat with 2 boys…lol!
The last pic is the kids work station for homework and stuff!!!!
Any way here it is!!!

Looks good Mz Penny. I wish I could hang a rod to hold my punches, I have ALL of mine in drawers as I’m in the unfinished basement - sucks the big one!!!!
**EDIT**
Thanks Michelle! You’ll get it finished soon!!!

I’m new to stamping and have gotten lots of great ideas from your room. (Especially the curtain rod on the wall to hold your punches!) Also, where can I get one of those shelves for my ink pads and ribbons? I have to have one!! One suggestion - if you are going to paint that room (which I think it’s actually very lovely but you said you wanted to paint it) I would recommend using that paint that is magnetic…I understand it’s expensive compared to other paints so maybe you will only want it on one or two walls - but then you could hang your projects with magnets (like cards and misc papers) or clippy magnets for projects like scrapbook pages… I’m adding ur blog to my list of blogs. Thanks again for the great ideas!
**EDIT**
Thanks!!!! I got the ink pad storage on E-Bay!
I was going to use wild wasabi and chocolate chip paint. I will definatley look into the pricing of magnetic paint…thanks!

WOW! someone else who has about as much scrapping stuff as I do!! I wish I could have met you before you moved to Texas (I am a good friend of Angela’s)we could totally have hit it off!! I love your room, my formal dining room has also been converted into a scrapping room for the exact same reason, don’t need a carpeted eating space with 4 kids. I am trying to do more scrapping and less cards this year too, it’s just hard to find the time somehow…
