Good Afternoon friends!!
Had a little time to play today. Yesterday was a bust as I was suffering from a terrible headache. Thank goodness it is settled somewhat today.
I borrowd a few sets from my upline as I am not going to be placing an order for a few weeks and I wanted to get a jump start on getting more christmas cards done! Thanks Tara!
I used BBurgandy and White with the Baroque Motifs set for this one.

And this one was using a new Bella! Wreathabella. I colored her with SU Markers and cut the card base to a funny sort of angle.

And this one is made with the Pick a Petal & Priceless sets also using BBurgandy & AArtichoke!

Seein as how I have moved to Texas this year I thought I might incorporate that into one of my card designs.

I bought the “50 States” Cartridge for my Cricut Expression and cut the little Texas states in RRed. I tied a ribbon around them like a little package. The verse I got off the internet somewhere. Paired it all with GGreen and accented the corners with the Ticket puncs and a dot of white gel pen!

I just LOVE SnowFlakes!
I am gonna miss them this Christmas being in the south.
Kinda makes me sad a little….lol.
Anyway…..enough with the sentimental stuff.
This is one of my Christmas cards this year.

I made them with Vellum. The vellum was stamped with white stazon using the “Snowflakes” stamp set by The Paper Studio. I embossed nore vellum with the flakes folder for my CuttleBug and backed it with SU’s brushed Silver paper. I stamped the front with silver ink I got at Michaels and a stamp from the same set!

I really like how soft this card looks.

This weeks sketch Challenge by Beate became even more of a challenge for me. I purchased these 8″x10″ paint canvases some time ago and wanted to make one for all the special photos and sentiments in my life.
It was to be an art project that is proving to be a huge challenge.
So today I turned the scketch challenge into a wall art challenge.
This pic is of my sons and my nephews on my side of the family….dont have one of all the kids on Hubbys side as we are in waiting for the newest addition any day now!!!!
I used my Close to Cocoa Craft pad and inked up the canvas and added a strip of sage Shadow paper along with Sahara Sand.

I stamped the flowers from Office Accoutourment and assed Brass Brads to finish the project.

It is going to be hung on my studio wall where I acan admire it every day. I have planned to make a whole wll feature of similiar canvases….all with special meaning to me.
I was on a roll today so I created this one as well.It is of my Hubby and my boys. This pic was taken at Francois Newfoundland while on a hike up to the top of the hill. We wer almost eaten alive with sketers but this pic made it all worth it.

For this canvas I painted it with green and blue and left a little bit of white to show contrast. I cut the title with my Cricut using the Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge

My hubby has been working in the oil industry for 14 years. He works very hard and plays very little.
When he got his promotion lastyear he was determined to get a new truck and not just any truck…the boy wanted a HUMMER 2 SUT!
He works hard and is compensated for it so why not!!!
He went to the store and came back from a test drive in a hummer and 3 days later we owned it.
The verse says “Formula for Success….Rise early, work hard and strike oil!”

I have only used this “Just K” set from last seasons simply sent kits once before and thought it would be perfect for this challenge. The Flowers are from “Office Accoutrement”.

This is a really fun card to make!

This time I used my stash of Petals & Paisley DSP from SU!
I added a few primas and some brads & Ribbon.

The flower and frame on the front were cut with the Cricut Expression “Accent Essentials”
It has been a crazy few days and I have not had the time nor the energy to stamp or play. I havn’t even done the Weekend sketch challenge yet…lol. I’ll get to it now though.
One kid down one to go. It is stamp in my jammies sorta night…lol!
Hope you are all having a great evening!
