Well all the paper work is done and the lawyers are all taken care of. All that is left to do now is to get the money and run….lol. I am still quite uncertain of this move….excited and hyper and sick and terrified all rolled into one. I know it is the best thing for us as a family but I am also leaving my brother and his family and my home and most of all 2 of my best friends in the world. This is the part I don’t like at all. I went to Lechelles house today and both of us were choking back the tears as I walked out. I am going to Angelas house on Sunday and I am sure I wont make it out of the house then either.
Mom flew into Calgary tonight for a visit. One last get together for all of us in the same town for a while. We only have a week but that is better than not at all.

Just exhausting trying to get all the damed paperwork in our hands for the trip across the US border. I don’t think I have slept more than 2 hours a night for the last week. Right now I could go to sleep but I’ll only wake up again in an hour.

Hey Mz Penny. Think of it as exciting (because of course it is)…I actually envy you and what a beautiful house…I would love to come and visit you all! As for missing your friends…I understand. When I moved from Vancouver to Calgary almost 10 years ago now (I know it’s not the same distance by far)I remember my farewell party and than getting on that plan to fly to Calgary, it was the evening of Halloween, October 31, 1997…well I cried the whole flight over. I was excited about my new life and seeing Billy again but at the same time I felt as if my life was being ripped apart, I was leaving at the time my Mom, my Grandpa and my best friend in the whole world. Well over the years we have just commited to eachother and we try to see eachother as much as possible and of course we email. You just have to find “creative” ways to still be “close”.
Everything will fall into place and you will all be settled very soon. The kids must be so excited.

Gee, thanks for making me cry this morning..lol..I’ll get you back at Ang’s..ha! I’m going to miss you like crazy, knowing you’re not just a few minutes away BUT I want you to know that I’m very happy for you and wish you nothing but the best and much success in your new life adventure!
